  • Sri Durga - embossed, gold-plated silver coin.
  • This beautifully embossed, rectangular coin depicts a 3-dimensional image of the warrior goddess Durga, in the form of Amba.
  • She is usually depicted with eight arms, wielding a rather dazzling selection of arms from the ancient world and mounted upon a very fearsome tiger.
  • She is probably the most popular and most worshipped form of the Mother ever, when one seeks protection against negative influences.
  • This silver (92.5) coin has the goddess richly plated in gold.
  • An elegant border encases her glorious form.
  • During 'Navratri', the goddess is bathed with milk, honey and 'Ganga jal' or water from the Ganges.
