Description
  • Water, or sometimes gangajal, used to bathe the gods, becomes 'charnamrit' or holy water which is then spooned out to devotees to drink as a blessed 'prasad' or offering.
  • This intricately engraved set of copper vessels contain a small 'thal' or place to hold the cup which is filled with 'gangajal' or holy water.
  • An ornamental spoon to ladle out the precious water completes this beautiful set.
  • Maintenance: Wash with mild detergent and water using a soft scrub, to keep the enamel work looking bright and colorful.

  • These sounds help to drown any inauspicious or disturbing noises and comments that might disrupt the worshippers in their concentration and inner peace.
  • The brass temple bell is used for ’puja’ in traditional hindu prayer.
  • It forms a very important element of the ’aarti’.
