Auspicious nine-day-long festival of Navaratri is an occasion to worship Shakti or Divine Mother. Navratri is the festival of dance, singing prayers (Bhajans) and offering sincere prayers to the Goddess Durga. The first three days of Navratri are devoted to the Goddess Durga (Goddess of Power); the next three days to the Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of Prosperity) and the last three days to the Goddess Saraswati (Goddess of Knowledge). The tenth day of this festival is called as Dassera. Dussehra also popularly called as Vijaya Dasami. Dussehra is essentially a festival of victory of good over evil.
It is also the time to express good wishes for loved ones by sending them delightful Navratri and Dussehra gifts! Shower the blessings of Mata Sherwali or Ma Durga on your near and dear ones and gift them a thoughtful and unique gift they can cherish forever. |
